Semi-quantitative detection system of target substances based on the phenomenon of surface plasmon resonance or SPR.
This innovative instrument is based on a two-chip optical reading system: the first is the measurement sensor that will then be brought into contact with the analyte to be tested; the second is the SPR Bare chip needed for reading.
The two-chips based approach allows for greater sensitivity, thus enabling reads of much lower concentrations than the single system.
COMPACT & PORTABLE
The instrument can be easily transported from a laboratory to a contaminated site to make the measurement directly out in the field.
READING SPEED
Samples can be analyzed directly using a very small volume (a few microliters) without any pretreatment procedure, and the output signal can be read in a few minutes.
IOT SYSTEM
Through the dedicated software, the instrument is always connectable to the internet to allow data to be saved to the cloud
COMPATIBLE SENSORS
The instrument uses a bare SPR platform and a measurement sensor with the target analyte. Currently, the system has been optimized for the detection of pollutants such as PFAS.
How does it work?
The system consists of:
A white light source with associated voltage regulator
A sample holder module A in which to house the measurement sensor
A sample holder module B in which to house the SPR bare sensor required for measurement
A spectrophotometer that allows through dedicated software to analyze data
A liquid suction and collection system
